About the Event

Such a happy and beautiful day when Bev and Rob tied the knot in their own home, venue and garden in South Africa.

Surrounded by supportive family and friends this was indeed a very happy and special day for the couple and their loved ones.

On cue – the day provided blue skies and real warmth. The sun really came out and shone for this couple  – perfect for a lunchtime ceremony and afternoon harvest style lunch. The white stretch tent and chic Caribbean white umbrellas provided ample shade and cool for all the invited guests.

Bev wore a pretty blush pink wedding dress which radiated on her as did her smile. The entourage, attired gorgeously in navy blue dresses for the girls and duck egg blue pants and suspenders with a blush tie for the boys, were the most delightful children, who all took their duties and responsibilities very seriously. They really added a wonderful, happy energy to the day. Sasha and Connor were bridesmaid and MC respectively and so mature in their approach to supporting Bev and Rob.

Bev wanted simple and stylish in all her choices of colours, decor and detail touches. Bev’s colours were white and green. Hanging white orchid flower detail formed the base of the ceremony arch, where the intimate ceremony took place. Bev’s two close friends led the commitment ceremony adding a very personal accent to the day.

For the tables, a little touch of rosemary twig at each place setting, added stylish detail to the linen napkin. The table flowers and decor consisted of beautiful white and blush pink roses combined with other whimsical flower detail. These were mostly whites, blush pinks and soft hues of green to give a romantic softness to the raw wooden tables and linen runners.

A delicious full harvest style lunch was served by a professional catering team supported by smiley and efficient staff who ensured that the canapé’s, wine and champagne flowed throughout the day.

The naked wedding cake was carrot in flavour and there was not much left which proved the proof was in the eating.

Guests were looked after beautifully by the couple and the day was everything Bev and Rob had imagined and wanted it to be. From the pictures the happiness of the day really is apparent and we wish Bev and Rob a very happy and long life together.
